Description

"Social Security and Social Change" is a collection of articles written by British and international experts on the challenges facing social security systems since William Beveridge published his report in 1942. These challenges are discussed in the light of key socio-economic changes since the 1940s: changing gender and family roles, new employment patterns and the ageing population.
